Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to support our manufacturing operations through preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, infrastructure improvements, and safety compliance initiatives. The role is critical for maximizing equipment uptime, ensuring efficient repairs, and maintaining a safe, compliant production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct baseline assessments of equipment, identify gaps, and develop prioritized improvement plans.
• Create, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs, including schedules and reporting systems.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with production schedules to minimize downtime.
• Perform hands‑on troubleshooting and repair of production machinery and facility systems.
• Manage spare parts inventory and equipment lifecycle records.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve reliability.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, capital improvement projects, and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with company policies and all applicable regulations.
• Promote a strong culture of workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, Technical School certification, or Associate’s Degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with heavy industrial or mechanical operations.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 General Industry standards and manufacturing safety practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience maintaining digital preventive‑maintenance systems, parts inventories, and equipment records.
• Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, OSHA regulations, industrial hygiene, and testing procedures.
