Eyewear Designer

About the role

Sesame is seeking an Eyewear Designer to create luxury fashion eyewear that merges refined aesthetics, advanced materials, and thoughtful user experience. The role sits at the intersection of hardware innovation and high‑end fashion, shaping collections that define the look and feel of personal computing.

Key responsibilities

• Generate innovative eyewear concepts, CMF directions, and design language aligned with brand aesthetics and user needs.
• Collaborate with engineers, CMF specialists, product managers, and modelers to develop frame silhouettes, material approaches, and prototypes.
• Create detailed sketches and technical drawings to communicate design intent and guide manufacturing.
• Develop prototypes and material mock‑ups, evaluate fit, proportion, and aesthetic quality.
• Conduct fit studies, wear testing, and ergonomic evaluations to ensure comfort, balance, and suitability for daily use.
• Iterate designs based on user insights, testing feedback, and internal reviews, focusing on nose bridge fit, temple comfort, and weight distribution.
• Work closely with manufacturing partners and material suppliers to ensure design feasibility and production accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong sense of style and deep understanding of eyewear frame construction.
• Trained eye for proportion, fit, and fashion relevance.
• Ability to translate trends, CMF direction, and brand DNA into production‑ready designs.
• Technical rigor to move seamlessly from concept through manufacturing.
• Passion for luxury fashion, craftsmanship, and user‑centered design.
