Executive Business Partner – Support Founders

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Executive Business Partner to support Cartesia’s four co‑founders. This in‑person role in San Francisco combines executive assistance with building operating rhythms and driving cross‑functional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex, rapidly evolving calendars for four founders, prioritize competing requests and protect time for high‑value work.
• Anticipate needs, prepare founders for meetings, handle travel planning, itineraries and expenses.
• Build and run operating rhythms such as leadership meetings, annual planning, OKR processes and cross‑functional reviews.
• Coordinate board meetings, work with board members’ EAs and prepare board materials.
• Partner closely with founders, push for clarity and follow‑through, and represent them with external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in executive support, executive operations or a similar role at a fast‑moving, high‑growth company.
• High agency with the ability to create structure where none exists and solve ambiguous problems.
• Comfortable managing strong personalities, competing priorities and changing plans.
• Strong judgment on what to own directly, when to push back and when to involve founders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
