Escrow Officer – Real Estate Closing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our Independence Title office in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area. You will guide real‑estate transactions from file intake through closing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a remarkable client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and clients to close transactions efficiently and error‑free.
• Process files, prepare CD’s/HUD’s, and complete all required closing documents.
• Obtain lender approvals, order updates, and determine clearance to close.
• Build and service business relationships, supporting sales representatives and participating in marketing initiatives.
• Assist and support team members proactively while maintaining professional conduct.

Required profile

• Friendly, outgoing, well‑organized with a strong work ethic.
• High school diploma or equivalent; must obtain an Escrow Officer license if not already held.
• Minimum 5 years of direct escrow/closer experience.
• Professional appearance and ability to create a positive company image.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Technical knowledge of the real‑estate closing process.
