Entry-Level Call Center Care Specialist Tier 1 (Day or Night) Remote

About the role

We are looking for an Entry-Level Call Center Care Specialist to join the Cleveland Clinic team. This full‑time, remote position offers flexible day or night shifts and serves patients across Ohio and Pennsylvania. As the first point of contact, you will schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments while delivering compassionate service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage high‑volume inbound and outbound calls to arrange patient appointments across multiple clinical specialties.
• Capture and update patient demographic, insurance, and medical information in electronic record systems.
• Provide patients with appointment details, preparation instructions, clinic locations, and required documentation.
• Coordinate with clinical staff and departments to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Address patient inquiries, resolve scheduling conflicts, and maintain confidentiality.
• Utilise multiple IT systems simultaneously to process scheduling requests.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, call centre, or administrative roles, preferably in healthcare.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional, compassionate telephone manner.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) or similar scheduling software.
