About the role
Ochsner Health seeks an experienced ENT Physician to join its clinical staff in Slidell, Louisiana. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care while upholding Ochsner’s core values of patients first, integrity, compassion, inclusivity, teamwork, and excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Examine patients, diagnose clinical conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments.
- Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the Electronic Health Record.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Order additional evaluations, make referrals, and ensure accurate coding of all visits.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Otolaryngology (ENT).
- Licensed MD or DO with active practice privileges.
- Credentialed by Ochsner Health and willing to maintain clinical practice.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation.
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures.
