Engineering Manager, GRC Platform

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) platform team. You will build the technical foundation that scales risk and compliance programs by turning manual processes into automated, AI‑enhanced engineering systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a greenfield team to define GRC architecture, processes, and integrations.
• Design and implement automated workflows for continuous risk monitoring and compliance.
• Build data pipelines that aggregate risk, control, and asset information from cloud infrastructure, identity providers, HR platforms, ticketing tools, and code repositories.
• Translate compliance policies into policy‑as‑code, creating enforceable rules and automated checks.
• Collaborate with Security, IT, and Engineering to support audit programs such as SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA, and FedRAMP.
• Identify opportunities to embed Anthropic’s Claude AI into workflows for evidence collection, unstructured data interpretation, and compliance gap triage.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment.
• Strong understanding of data integration across heterogeneous systems.
• Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA, FedRAMP).
• Ability to work closely with Security, IT, and product stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
