Elevator Mechanics & Service Technicians – Multiple Locations

About the role

Delaware Elevator is seeking experienced Elevator Mechanics and Service Technicians to join its field operations team across the Eastern Seaboard. The role involves working on new construction, modernization projects, and ongoing service calls for a variety of elevator systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install and upgrade elevator systems from ground break to final inspection on new construction and modernization projects.
• Maintain and repair elevator equipment, servicing moving parts and machinery that operate on mechanical and electronic principles.
• Analyze information and troubleshoot to determine the best solutions for equipment issues.
• Interact professionally with customers, general contractors, and business owners.

Required profile

• Hold an Elevator Mechanic license (or be able to obtain one within 6 months).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the elevator trade.
• Completion of a 4‑year federally approved apprenticeship program is a plus.
• Physically capable of climbing, lifting, balancing, and handling materials with precision.
• Willingness to travel and participate in an on‑call rotation, including after‑hours work.
