EHS Specialist – Workplace Health & Safety

About the role

Join Amazon’s mission to become Earth’s safest place to work as an EHS Specialist. You will act as the safety champion for a specific building, driving a proactive safety culture while protecting associates daily.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement data‑driven safety programs across the site.
• Conduct daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver engaging safety training and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted safety advisor, building strong relationships with frontline associates and leadership.
• Translate safety data into clear narratives that influence behavior and drive engagement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an Environmental Health & Safety role.
• Ability to lift up to 49 lb, stand/walk up to 12 hours, and work in variable noise, temperature, and weather conditions.
• Flexible availability for day, night, or weekend shifts.
• Must obtain adult First Aid, CPR, and AED certification within three weeks of start date.
