E-commerce Buyer

About the role

The E‑commerce Buyer will lead procurement activities for our online platform, ensuring popular items stay in stock, supporting promotional events, and driving customer satisfaction. This role blends strategic sourcing, inventory planning, and supplier relationship management in a fast‑paced e‑commerce environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic procurement plan aligned with e‑commerce demand, seasonality, and market trends.
• Plan inventory and meet days‑of‑supply KPIs using historical and market data for replenishment and new product launches.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with inventory and demand‑planning teams to optimize stock levels, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess inventory.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay abreast of emerging industry trends.
• Implement cost‑effective procurement strategies while preserving product quality.
• Use data‑analytics tools to track KPIs, assess product performance, and make data‑driven decisions.
• Work closely with marketing, merchandising, and logistics to align product selection with sales goals.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, buying, or planning.
• Strong understanding of e‑commerce operations and market dynamics.
• Excellent organization, follow‑through, and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
