About the role
The Director of Operations will lead day‑to‑day activities for Marlboro Market, a Boston‑based supermarket. This part‑time remote position focuses on overseeing operational workflows, budgets and team performance to ensure excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily operational activities and ensure smooth workflow across the store.
- Develop, monitor and control budgets, optimizing resource allocation.
- Analyze operational metrics, identify trends and implement process improvements.
- Lead, mentor and coordinate team members to maintain high performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align operations with organizational goals.
Required profile
- Proven expertise in operations management, preferably within retail or supermarket environments.
- Strong analytical abilities for trend identification and efficiency enhancement.
- Demonstrated leadership and team‑management skills.
- Experience in budgeting and financial planning.
- Commitment to delivering superior customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations or related field preferred.
