About the role

Marquee Brands is looking for an experienced Human Resources leader to serve as a strategic partner to executive and departmental leadership in New York. The role blends high‑level strategic influence with hands‑on execution across employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance, and culture‑building.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with executives to align HR strategy with business objectives and act as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
• Design and implement programs that boost employee engagement, retention, and performance while leveraging people analytics to guide decisions.
• Provide confidential counsel to managers and employees on employee‑relations matters, lead investigations, and ensure consistent policy application.
• Lead full‑cycle recruitment for professional, management, and leadership roles, build talent pipelines, and oversee onboarding for long‑term integration.
• Own the annual and mid‑year performance review cycles, drive goal‑setting, feedback, and development initiatives across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior HR leader with a track record of strategic partnership and operational execution.
• Strong business acumen to shape organizational strategy and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent coaching and communication skills to guide managers on performance, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to use workforce metrics and people analytics to inform decisions.
