Director, Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

About the role

This is a high‑impact leadership position for a hands‑on data expert who will shape the enterprise reporting and analytics ecosystem of a fast‑paced SaaS company. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across finance, sales, product and operations, turning complex data into actionable insights that drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the enterprise analytics and BI function, delivering accurate, scalable reporting.
• Build and maintain production‑grade dbt models, SQL pipelines, and dashboards for multiple business units.
• Administer and optimize BI platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Metabase, Segment, Heap, Fivetran and Stitch.
• Produce board‑level and investor‑ready reports in partnership with executive leadership.
• Develop self‑service analytics frameworks and training programs for end‑users.
• Lead data governance, quality, compliance and audit readiness initiatives.
• Support M&A, system migrations and due‑diligence activities.
• Identify AI/ML integration opportunities to automate workflows.
• Mentor analysts and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership or lead role.
• Proven player‑coach ability, balancing hands‑on technical work with team leadership.
• Deep expertise in SQL and modern data‑stack technologies.
• Experience with enterprise reporting systems in production environments.
