About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is hiring a Diagnostic Cardiac Medical Sonographer to work at its El Dorado, Arkansas facility. This temporary, fixed‑term position supports the cardiac imaging team by providing high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound services.
Key responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Document findings accurately and communicate results to the care team.
- Maintain and calibrate sonography equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to patient safety and infection‑control standards.
Required profile
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
