DevOps Engineer

About the role

CooperVision is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support automated delivery pipelines for its software solutions. The role focuses on Azure DevOps and aims to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient releases across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Administer Azure DevOps services, including repositories, branching strategies, and artifact management.
• Define and enforce DevOps best practices, release management, and environment strategies.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) solutions.
• Support application teams in integrating DevOps processes.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot deployment issues, and ensure system reliability.
• Participate in release planning, execution, validation, and post‑release support.
• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and training materials.
• Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement of tools and processes.
• Implement DevSecOps controls within Azure DevOps.

Required profile

• Solid background in software development.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD automation.
• Ability to define standards and provide internal training.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
