Developer Advocate – Community & AI Platform

About the role

TypeSafe is building reliable, general‑purpose AI models that can be deployed in production. As a Developer Advocate you will shape the company’s voice with developers, grow community trust, and accelerate adoption of our composable AI platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define and promote TypeSafe’s developer narrative through talks, demos, and community events.
• Own the developer experience across documentation, quickstarts, SDKs, and API references.
• Gather feedback from developers, synthesize insights, and advocate for their needs internally.
• Design and run developer programs such as early‑access, beta testing, red‑team exercises, and bug bounty initiatives.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and leadership to align technical content with roadmap.
• Create tutorials, cookbooks, demos, and other collateral that help developers evaluate and adopt TypeSafe.
• Plan and execute developer‑focused marketing moments including webinars, meetups, hackathons, and conference talks.

Required profile

• Deep empathy for developers and a proven ability to listen, synthesize feedback, and run usability tests.
• Passion for TypeSafe’s mission to deliver transformative AI that has real‑world impact.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• More than three years of experience as a software engineer or developer advocate.
• Established reputation within developer communities is a strong plus.

• Base salary $150k–250k plus equity, based on leveling
