Designer – Belts & Fashion Accessories

About the role

The Designer – Belts and Fashion Accessories will develop a product line that reflects the brand’s DNA, reporting to the Senior Design Director and working closely with the design team. This full‑time position supports the Wholesale Accessories business from our NYC office.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate to design on‑trend accessories based on line plans and senior manager direction.
• Create detailed sketches, CAD flats, and tech packs/spec sheets for development.
• Work with senior designers and cross‑functional teams to ensure timely, accurate execution.
• Develop prints, graphics, and surface embellishments where applicable.
• Manage multiple accessory categories and meet all milestone and calendar due dates.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and consumer insights.
• Assist with sample organization and support vendor communication.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of experience designing belts and soft accessories.
• Proficiency with MAC computers and strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of brand DNA and ability to work with overseas vendors.
