Design Engineer – Frontend & UI/UX

About the role

Posh is building a platform that connects people to real‑world communities. As a Design Engineer you will work on both the React Native mobile app and the React web tools, turning design concepts into production‑ready code for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to translate interactive Figma prototypes into production‑grade React and React Native code.
• Bridge design and engineering priorities by improving design system usability, responsiveness, and motion.
• Own the delivery of delightful micro‑interactions and ensure they are integrated into the design review process.
• Evolve and maintain the shared design system components, primitives, and tokens across mobile and web.
• Enable other engineers to create high‑quality UI experiences by building frameworks and tooling.

Required profile

• Proven experience in frontend development with React and React Native.
• Strong eye for visual design and ability to work closely with UI/UX designers.
• Passion for creating seamless, “alive” user experiences at scale.
• Ability to influence product decisions and champion design‑first thinking.
• Comfortable working onsite in New York City and collaborating across disciplines.
