Design Engineer (CAD & Database)

About the role

The Design Engineer will support product development by creating and modifying database structures, CAD drawings, and hardware documentation. You will work closely with project teams to translate user needs into technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Modify existing databases and database management systems, or direct programmers and analysts to implement changes.
• Write logical and physical database descriptions and define identifiers for the DBMS.
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate database development, define scope, and estimate time and cost.
• Create and modify CAD drawing packages, generate Bills of Materials (BOMs), wire lists, and device labels for production.
• Support production engineers with custom wiring designs, panel component layout, and hardware‑related parts.
• Attend group and project meetings as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
• Basic understanding of circuit boards, processors, and electronic equipment.
