About the role
The Analyst – Data Science will work within the AIM (Analytics, Investment & Marketing Enablement) team to provide actionable insights that drive marketing strategy and growth for American Express Global Commercial Services. You will partner closely with marketing stakeholders to translate data into strategic recommendations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop analytical solutions for GCS Customer Marketing by gathering requirements, performing data analysis and tracking performance.
- Deliver accurate, timely monthly results reporting for initiatives such as offer personalization and orchestra support.
- Conduct campaign measurement, ROI analysis and provide data‑driven insights for acquisition strategies.
- Explore and visualise data from multiple sources to create compelling case studies.
- Collaborate with functional leaders, business partners and senior leaders to assess needs, ensure data integrity and recommend actionable actions.
- Build strong relationships with marketing stakeholders and drive projects end‑to‑end with accountability.
Required profile
- Strong analytical aptitude and technical problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal errors and high ownership.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
- Project management capability and a growth‑mindset.
- Comfort with ambiguous, complex initiatives and the ability to learn quickly.
