Data QA Engineer – Enterprise Data

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Data QA Engineer to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of complex enterprise data ecosystems. You will validate ETL pipelines, verify data migrations, and confirm that transformed data reflects true business logic before it reaches analytical layers and decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Validate ETL processes, referential integrity, constraints, and data normalization across pipelines.
• Perform functional testing on core database objects such as stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
• Write complex SQL queries to verify data correctness and system integrity during migrations.
• Test data pipelines, transformations, and business logic within Tableau and Power BI reporting tools.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts for database regression and integration testing.
• Identify slow‑running queries, analyze execution plans, evaluate indexing, and collaborate with DBAs to improve performance.
• Track defects using JIRA or TestRail and promote data‑quality best practices across teams.

Required profile

• Advanced ability to write and execute complex SQL queries for deep data verification and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience validating ETL/ELT pipelines and complex data‑warehousing environments.
• Hands‑on experience with database testing, regression testing, and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
