About the role

The Data Entry Specialist will support an analytics company in downtown Chicago by ensuring that key data is accurate, consistent, and easily accessible across multiple systems. This position is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and high‑quality records.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain data in various databases and systems.
• Review and verify data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Perform routine data quality checks and resolve discrepancies.
• Organize electronic files and generate reports or data extracts as needed.
• Assist with data cleansing, migration projects, and follow established data entry procedures.
• Communicate with internal teams to clarify missing or incomplete information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1‑3 years of data entry or administrative experience.
• Strong typing speed with high accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
