Cyber Security Analyst I

About the role

CyberSheath Services International LLC is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst I to join its Security Operations team. The analyst will monitor client environments, detect and investigate threats, and support incident response using a multi‑tenant SIEM platform.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, investigate, document and report on security alerts and potential incidents in customer environments.
• Process security investigation cases promptly while maintaining thoroughness.
• Coordinate incident response, containment and remediation for urgent security events.
• Produce detailed investigative notes and ensure proper shift‑change documentation.
• Provide customers with clear security consultation during external communications.
• Escalate investigations as needed and contribute feedback for process improvements.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• U.S. citizenship and residence within the United States or its territories.
• Basic understanding of query languages and general programming concepts.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Sumo Logic, Microsoft Defender, Google Chronicle, Azure Sentinel).
• Knowledge of Office 365.
• System networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with query languages and basic programming operations.
