Cyber Compliance Oversight Manager

About the role

The Cyber Compliance Oversight Manager will lead the oversight of the Managed Services Provider (MSP) that delivers day‑to‑day cybersecurity and technology compliance services for 3M. This role ensures the Cyber Compliance Management Program operates effectively across control frameworks, assessments, monitoring, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the MSP relationship responsible for cybersecurity compliance operations, ensuring delivery quality across all services.
• Review and approve MSP outputs, including obligations updates, unified control framework changes, assessment results, monitoring outcomes, and compliance reports.
• Monitor MSP performance against SLAs and KPIs, ensuring adherence to scope, quality expectations, and timelines.
• Conduct regular service delivery reviews and drive continuous improvement in compliance operations.
• Partner with the MSP to assess regulatory changes, evaluate applicability, and update compliance obligations and common controls.
• Collaborate on risk‑based control assessments, validate remediation plans, and oversee ongoing compliance monitoring results.
• Support readiness assessments by reviewing gap analyses, maturity evaluations, and required enhancements.
• Serve as escalation point with Internal Audit, preparing evidence and ensuring alignment with control and regulatory expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing cybersecurity compliance programs or overseeing MSP relationships.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and control frameworks.
• Ability to analyze compliance data and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
