Customer Service Representative – Inside Sales & Customer Service

About the role

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, delivers world‑class service, repair and remanufacturing for electronics, hydraulics, robotics and mechanical components. The Customer Service Representative maximizes customer satisfaction and contribution margins by accurately processing orders, price and delivery inquiries, returns and product literature while coordinating internal resources to meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls concerning order status, pricing, product availability and delivery schedules.
• Develop a basic understanding of the buying process for OEM and MRO customers and maintain knowledge of assigned accounts.
• Process orders, quotes, returns and navigate SunSource’s pricing system using internal support tools.
• Orchestrate resources across technical support, warehousing, finance, service and purchasing to fulfill customer requirements.
• Identify incremental selling opportunities within existing orders and collaborate with outside sales to capture new business.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of industrial repair or distribution experience.
• At least two years of customer service experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with effective problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Competence in using email and vendor pricing programs.
