Counter Sales Associate – Dallas

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Counter Sales Associate for our Dallas branch. The role oversees counter sales and warehouse operations, including inventory, product handling, shipping/receiving and personnel management in a fast‑paced team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process orders received from counter customers.
• Assist customers by clarifying needs, researching and recommending parts.
• Use the ERP system to determine material availability and lead times.
• Process requests for quotes (RFQs) from current or potential customers.
• Create, issue and process purchase orders and transfer orders as required.
• Train and mentor new Counter Sales employees.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of products and services offered.
• Assist management with miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hose and fittings product knowledge required.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure preferred.
• Good communication, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to adapt to various situations to support company goals.
• Comfortable lifting heavy items and operating warehouse machinery.
