Corporate Counsel (Remote)

About the role

Seamless is seeking a strategic Corporate Counsel to lead its legal, privacy, and compliance initiatives. Working remotely, you will partner with the COO and business teams to turn complex regulatory requirements into actionable solutions that support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Execute global privacy compliance programs (GDPR, CPRA), draft policies, DPAs, and manage data subject requests.
• Lead negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts, SaaS agreements, data licenses, and vendor agreements.
• Maintain internal contract standards, playbooks, and streamline the contract lifecycle management process.
• Provide legal guidance to product and engineering on new features, APIs, and platform policies.
• Support HR on employment matters, contractor classifications, and corporate governance documentation.
• Manage legal operations tools, templates, matter tracking, and deliver internal privacy training.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in SaaS commercial law, data privacy, and basic employment law.
• Proven ability to build trust with business partners and operate autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and contract negotiation capabilities.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of federal, state, and global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA).
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and SaaS agreements.
• Experience managing privacy operations, including DPIAs and DSARs.
