About the role

The Coordinator of Curriculum and Degree Progression reports to the Assistant Registrar and plays a critical role in managing systems, records, and pathways that lead to successful student program completion. The ideal candidate combines high attention to detail with strong cross‑departmental communication skills and assists with commencement and end‑of‑semester processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct degree audits to verify student progress toward graduation.
• Maintain and update Workday progress reports and curriculum changes.
• Process curriculum updates and ensure compliance with academic policies.
• Assist with commencement and end‑of‑semester processes under the supervision of the Assistant Registrar and Registrar.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university by the hire date.
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license and completion of the Southeastern Driver Safety Course.
• Understanding of FERPA regulations and confidentiality standards for academic records.
• Exceptional organizational, data‑entry precision, problem‑solving abilities, and collaborative attitude.
• Willingness to learn and master technical systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Student Information Systems such as Banner.
• Proficiency with PeopleSoft.
• Proficiency with Workday.
