Contracts Advisor

About the role

The Contracts Advisor will oversee the full lifecycle of client‑facing and vendor‑facing agreements, ensuring contracts are drafted, negotiated and managed in line with the firm’s risk and financial objectives. Working remotely, the role partners with senior attorneys, procurement teams and external stakeholders to support sourcing, vendor management and ESG initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end contract lifecycle for vendors and clients, from creation through renewal or termination.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, engagement letters and outside‑counsel guidelines.
• Identify and mitigate legal and financial risks associated with contractual terms.
• Support procurement activities including RFI/RFP processes, vendor evaluations, purchase orders and sourcing of technology, SaaS and maintenance agreements.
• Analyze supplier data, monitor contract performance, and ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.
• Act as primary liaison for contract‑related communications and assist in the adoption of contract lifecycle management software.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive client and firm information.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in commercial contract management, negotiation and risk assessment.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms and business practices.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and collaborate across functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, research and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with word processing software.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet software.
