Continuous Improvement Technician

About the role

The Continuous Improvement Technician supports Hubbell’s Manufacturing System (HMS) and Kaizen initiatives across production and support areas. You will train associates in the People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost (PSQDC) framework, Kaizen, and HMS, while collaborating with the Continuous Improvement Manager to monitor maintenance performance.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate HMS and Kaizen events, measuring and driving continuous improvements.
• Train employees on PSQDC, Kaizen, and HMS methodologies.
• Generate and execute maintenance status reports and audit HMS elements.
• Document progress, create action plans, and follow up on improvement opportunities.
• Lead daily Kaizen activities, standardize 5S criteria, and monitor production rhythms.
• Requisition services, spare parts, and equipment repairs following purchasing procedures.
• Track approvals and delivery of requisitions.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Engineering, Quality Control, or a related technical field.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Basic reading and comprehension of English for equipment manuals and written instructions.
• Ability to analyze processes and develop critical insights.
