Continuous Improvement Leader

About the role

The Continuous Improvement Leader will partner with site leadership and cross‑functional teams to develop and execute a strategic CI roadmap that drives operational excellence and financial performance. This on‑site position in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin, offers the chance to influence improvement initiatives across production, supply chain, and enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define short‑term strategic direction and operating plans for the assigned area, establishing CI guidelines and methods.
• Develop and own the site CI strategy, setting improvement objectives in collaboration with site leadership.
• Lead complex problem‑solving projects covering production, materials, warehouse, MRP, ERP, and information flows.
• Drive financial improvement by linking process failures to actionable projects and monitoring results via a CI dashboard.
• Coach and mentor supervisors, managers, and peers to embed continuous improvement as a core performance driver.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed before start date.
• Minimum five years of plant or operations leadership experience.
• At least three years leading Kaizen events.
• Strong communication skills and ability to develop strategic plans.
• Experience (10+ years) in plant operations, engineering, or maintenance functions.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced data analysis).
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Lean Manufacturing methodology.
• ERP and MRP system knowledge.
• CI Dashboard usage for performance tracking.
