Content Marketing Manager

About the role

Veeva Systems, a life sciences industry cloud software company, is looking for a Content Marketing Manager in Boston, Massachusetts. The role drives content strategy and execution for the company's enterprise cloud platform, creating thought leadership, product and customer content in close collaboration with global marketing, strategy and sales teams. It suits someone who is a strong writer, strategic thinker and project manager.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with subject matter experts to create original content in formats such as blog posts, articles, white papers, infographics and videos.
• Build multi-channel content libraries that are SEO/GEO-optimized for discovery and engagement.
• Develop and run content strategies that support short- and long-term marketing initiatives and campaigns.
• Work with product marketing, customer marketing and field marketing to map, optimize and execute content across the buyer journey.
• Act as a steward of messaging, grammar, writing and style best practices.
• Measure and report on content performance and optimize based on results.
• Help improve standards, processes and tools, and share ideas on content marketing trends.

Required profile

• 5+ years of content marketing and/or product marketing experience in B2B tech or enterprise software.
• Proven track record of leading and executing integrated content strategy across the customer journey.
• Strong portfolio of published work showing the ability to simplify complex messaging.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Interest in life sciences; familiarity with the industry is a plus.

Required skills

• SEO best practices and an interest in emerging GEO strategies.
• Project management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate and lead projects cross-functionally, and to handle fast-paced work.
