Construction Superintendent – Large‑Scale Projects

About the role

Walbridge is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead large‑scale commercial and industrial projects across the United States. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies through final hand‑over, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise construction activities, defining methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Coordinate multiple trades (electricians, boilermakers, carpenters) and manage subcontractors.
• Monitor safety programs, document corrective actions, and enforce compliance.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and vendors.
• Track project performance through metrics, adjust plans as needed, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, and drive continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years supervisory experience on commercial or industrial construction projects with budgets of at least $15 M.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license, passport, and willingness to travel 70%+ of the time.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and maintain high safety standards.
