Construction QA/QC Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Construction QA/QC Manager to lead the quality assurance and control program for our complex life‑science facilities. Based in the United States with regular two‑week monthly travel to Uruguay, you will work closely with on‑site construction teams to ensure projects meet contractual and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and administer project‑specific Construction QA/QC plans together with the construction management team, contractors and clients.
• Train project personnel on QA/QC criteria, inspection test plans and compliance procedures.
• Oversee testing, inspection and acceptance of work, materials and equipment; identify and track non‑conformances to resolution.
• Prepare and submit quality control reports, audits and risk‑avoidance analyses to project managers.
• Coordinate with project executives to allocate qualified staff and ensure corporate quality goals are achieved.
• Maintain systems for monitoring deficiencies, test results and performance of direct‑hire and subcontract crews.
• Review utility matrices, commissioning and qualification documentation for start‑up of systems and skids.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction quality assurance/control within technically complex, life‑science or similar regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards, inspection test plans, non‑conformance reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to travel to Uruguay for extended periods each month.
• Excellent communication and training skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
