Construction Manager – Water/Wastewater

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Program Construction Manager to lead a construction management and inspection team for water and wastewater projects in South Florida. The role serves as the primary Parsons representative with clients, subcontractors, regulators, and the public throughout project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the Construction Management Plan, Site‑Specific Health and Safety Plan, and QA/QC Plan.
• Supervise inspectors and sub‑consultants, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate requisitions, sub‑consultant scopes, amendments, and task orders.
• Review and approve subcontractor safety and quality control plans.
• Negotiate scope changes, manage change orders, and advise on cost overruns or schedule impacts.
• Prepare monthly construction progress, safety self‑assessment, and quarterly management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field.
• Minimum 10+ years of construction management experience on major capital improvement projects.
• Proven experience overseeing large water and wastewater treatment or industrial projects.
