Condo Maintenance Technician Level 3

About the role

Copper Mountain Resort is a vacation destination in the Rocky Mountains, 75 miles west of Denver, Colorado. It manages condominiums through its lodging services and is looking for a Condo Maintenance Technician Level 3. The position is year-round and full-time, and the technician acts as a behind-the-scenes problem solver who keeps owners and guests satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance in Copper CMLS managed condominiums, communicating with the coordinator via the ALICE app and taking detailed notes on each issue and resolution.
• Troubleshoot and repair general maintenance items such as fireplaces, heating, intermediate appliances, blinds, locks, TV control systems, intermediate plumbing (toilets, sinks, faucets, tubs and showers) and intermediate electrical work (outlets, T-stat).
• Use small and various power tools, operate equipment safely, and prepare for special events and projects.
• Work on special requests and other projects as directed by management, and perform preventive maintenance (PMI) when assigned.
• Stock and maintain the work vehicle with supplies, keep a safe work environment, and act as an ambassador of the resort's culture.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old, able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
• Valid US driver's license; a criminal background check follows acceptance of the position.
• High school graduate or equivalent, with about 2 years of basic experience in the maintenance field.
• Comfortable working any hours of the day or week, in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Team player who can help lead and develop other staff.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with Microsoft Outlook and ability to learn other job-related systems.
• Hand and power tools, including planer, jointer, power saws, drills, routers, electrical meter, key punching and key cutting machines.
