Concierge Security Officer (Receptionist)

About the role

GardaWorld is seeking a Concierge Security Officer to serve as the front‑line receptionist at its Saint James, Louisiana site. This position blends traditional security duties with high‑level customer service, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls from the site’s switchboard promptly and professionally.
• Welcome and process all employees, contractors, and visitors entering the facility.
• Issue, update, and verify access badges while ensuring TWIC compliance.
• Maintain and electronically file security department records, logs, and incident reports.
• Monitor lobby activity, track security‑related events, and report as required.
• Distribute items delivered to the lobby and assist with visitor inquiries.
• Train security officers assigned to the receptionist post.
• Handle stressful situations calmly while upholding professionalism and the company’s reputation.

Required profile

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid TWIC card, security license, and driver’s license.
• Ability to pass an extensive background screening process.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Basic telephone operation.
• Computer proficiency for record‑keeping and badge management.
