Compliance Project Manager (B4)

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced Compliance Project Manager to lead the Global Supply Chain response to product and environmental regulatory requirements. Based in Austin, you will turn supplier survey data into actionable sourcing and engineering initiatives, ensuring compliance across a matrixed global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own the supply base survey process, defining scope, driving data collection and ensuring supplier compliance.
• Analyze large supplier and product data sets with tools such as Excel, Databricks and Tableau to identify risk, exposure and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Translate survey findings into prioritized supplier, sourcing and engineering actions and coordinate implementation across global teams.
• Serve as the Global Supply Chain point of contact for product and environmental regulatory requirements (US‑EPA/TSCA, EU‑REACH) and partner with legal and EHS.
• Lead multiple compliance projects, managing timelines, resources and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in material management, procurement, sourcing, program management or analytics within a matrixed global organization.
• Proven ability to interpret complex supplier data and drive actionable outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience influencing senior leadership.
