About the role
We Are Social is seeking a passionate Community Manager to own and grow social media conversations for leading brands. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, stays ahead of trends, and can turn ideas into engaging content that resonates with audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Own and maintain social content calendars for multiple brands.
- Publish approved content across designated channels.
- Engage with online communities through comments, maintaining each brand’s tone and personality.
- Monitor social trends and cultural moments to identify participation opportunities.
- Support reporting and performance insights using platform analytics tools.
Required profile
- Proactive, detail‑oriented individual comfortable reacting quickly in a dynamic setting.
- Self‑starter who can take concepts from idea to execution and handle feedback professionally.
- Based in the greater Los Angeles or New York City area.
Required skills
- Extensive personal use of major social platforms with deep understanding of their features.
- Experience managing a brand’s social channel (preferred).
- Strong copywriting ability for community management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
