Community Manager – Avana Thornton Station

About the role

We are looking for a Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Avana Thornton Station property. The role combines property management, leasing, and resident relations to ensure financial performance and high resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget, analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, prepare monthly financial reports and handle bank deposits.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges and coordinate with accounting.
• Maintain petty cash, control expenditures within approved budgets.
• Oversee lease enforcement: approve applications, renewals, discounts, conduct inspections, issue notices, process evictions and collect fees.
• Monitor market trends and implement short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction through responsive service and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in multifamily or residential property management.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and related regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and make budgetary decisions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
