About the role

Aikido is looking for a Cloud Advocate to bridge product and community, helping engineers, developers, and security teams understand our developer‑first security platform. Based in San Francisco, you will turn complex cloud and runtime security concepts into engaging content and community interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Break down Aikido’s platform into clear explanations for developers and security teams.
• Translate complex cloud, Kubernetes, and runtime security ideas into blogs, demos, and technical deep‑dives.
• Create and deliver demos, walkthroughs, and public talks at events such as KubeCon and AWS re:Inforce.
• Engage actively in cloud, DevOps, and security communities both online and in‑person.
• Build relationships with engineers, security practitioners, and content creators.
• Collaborate with product, growth, and sales to shape messaging and audience outreach.
• Provide field feedback to influence product direction and positioning.

Required profile

• Background in cloud engineering, DevOps, or cloud security.
• Experience with developer tools, infrastructure, or security products.
• Strong ability to explain technical concepts clearly in writing and speaking.
• Proven track record creating technical content such as blogs, demos, talks, or GitHub repositories.
• Comfortable engaging with technical audiences and community events.
