Clinical Pharmacist – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

About the role

Join a nationally recognized children’s hospital as a Clinical Pharmacist in a 32‑bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). You will play a critical role in optimizing medication therapy for critically ill children while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor clinical pharmacy programs to improve patient care and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff on drug utilization and cost‑containment strategies.
• Provide medication therapy management and support for critically ill pediatric patients during daily rounds and meetings.
• Participate in educational activities and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Active pharmacy state licensure obtained within 60 days of the start date.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS certification for pediatric practice.
• Availability to work day shift, Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM.
