Cleared Armed Security Specialist II

About the role

We are looking for a Cleared Armed Security Specialist II to join our team in San Antonio. In this full‑time position you will provide physical security, conduct inspections, and manage entry access control at designated government and commercial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform internal guard services, including vehicle and personnel entry control, roving patrols, and armed escort duties.
• Provide customer service to guests, residents, employees, and contractors.
• Conduct mobile patrols within assigned areas and screen vehicles and personnel at entry points.
• Protect equipment and personnel while maintaining weapons qualification and proficiency with non‑lethal weapons.
• Operate in austere conditions for up to 12‑hour shifts, handling extreme weather.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum five years of verifiable experience in the U.S. military, corrections, security, or law enforcement.
• Honorable discharge (if applicable) and clean criminal history.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Completion of Texas Private Security Level III training (or willingness to complete at own expense before start).
• Willingness to undergo background investigation, drug screening, medical and fitness requirements.
