City Manager – Los Angeles Operations

About the role

At Coco, we’re reimagining last‑mile delivery with autonomous robots. As the City Manager for Los Angeles you will own the end‑to‑end operation, acting as the public face of the company while ensuring fleet health, merchant success and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own city‑level operations, managing fleet health, deployment zones and operational uptime across all merchant locations.
• Drive merchant success by onboarding restaurants, resolving incidents and improving the delivery experience.
• Manage the local operations team, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management of robot technicians and coordinators.
• Track and report city KPIs, surface insights to leadership and drive continuous improvement.
• Represent Coco in the community, attending neighborhood meetings, engaging with local press and city officials.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience managing a hands‑on, physical‑world operation such as a restaurant or fulfillment center.
• Proven track record managing a direct‑labor workforce, including hiring, scheduling and performance management.
• Metrics‑driven operating style with a strong focus on hitting KPIs.
• Extreme attention to detail and ability to build processes that enforce standards.
• Strong relationship‑management skills with merchants, platform partners and city officials.
• Highly organized, able to juggle multiple priorities without gaps.
• Willingness to work non‑standard hours as required by the operation.
