Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About the role

The organization, backed by private equity, is looking for a seasoned Chief Operating Officer to partner with the CEO in scaling operations across multiple sites. This senior leader will drive operational strategy, improve efficiency, and ensure the company meets its growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute operational strategy for all business units and locations.
• Align cross‑functional teams to achieve shared goals and improve collaboration.
• Monitor operational performance, manage cost optimization, and lead efficiency initiatives.
• Design and implement scalable systems and processes to support rapid growth.
• Establish KPIs and performance‑tracking frameworks.
• Collaborate with finance, supply chain, and commercial teams to meet business targets.
• Lead transformation and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Mentor and develop high‑performing operational leaders.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in operations leadership.
• Prior experience as a COO or in a senior operational role.
• Proven track record of managing performance and scaling organizations.
• Experience in private‑equity‑backed or high‑growth environments is a plus.
• Strong executive communication and leadership abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
