About the role
Tarleton State University’s College of Education is seeking a Certification Testing Coordinator to manage student eligibility, registration, and reporting for educator certification exams. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the Educator Certification and Academic Services office and serves as a Campus Security Authority.
Key responsibilities
- Track students through the certification testing sequence and maintain accountability records.
- Prepare state and federal accountability reports related to testing.
- Process approvals for certification testing exams.
- Provide instruction to candidates on test and retest procedures.
- Perform additional duties related to certification testing and office operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three years of experience in an education‑related field, preferably with teacher certification experience.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with others.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to manage data using Microsoft Access.
What we offer
- Salary range from $44,000 to $55,550 per year, commensurate with experience.
