CEI Inspector Aide

About the role

Parsons is seeking a CEI Inspector Aide to support the inspection and monitoring of roadway and infrastructure construction projects in Florida. The role assists in ensuring that all work complies with FDOT standards, project plans, and specifications, while working closely with senior inspectors and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with inspections and monitoring of field work to verify conformance to plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Coordinate inspections with contractor representatives as directed by senior inspectors.
• Check lines, grades, dimensions, and elevations using standard field measuring equipment.
• Ensure highways, work zones, and traffic control setups meet contract requirements.
• Support field sampling and testing of materials and inspect completed work per client scope.
• Maintain detailed daily records, prepare inspection reports, and participate in project meetings.
• Observe and promote job safety practices and complete required timesheets and expense reports.

Required profile

• High school graduate with ability to obtain required certifications within 12 months.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
• Willingness to work daytime, nighttime, and weekend shifts as needed.
• No security clearance required.
