CDL‑A Local Truck Driver – $37.94/hr

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a CDL‑A City Pickup & Delivery (P&D) driver for its Manchester, NH service center. You will perform local freight deliveries and pickups, returning to the terminal each day, with the benefit of being home every night.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight across multiple city stops each shift.
• Operate scanning equipment to track loads.
• Interact directly with customers to ensure accurate service.
• Perform lift‑gate deliveries using an electric pallet jack.
• Return to the terminal daily after completing routes.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if FMCSA transition criteria are met).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift and stoop safely.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Use of scanning equipment.
• Electric pallet jack operation.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• Doubles/Triples endorsement (preferred).
