Caregiver – Chapin, SC (Non‑Medical Home Care)

About the role

Join One You Love Homecare Greater Columbia as a caregiver providing non‑medical support to clients in the Chapin area. You will help individuals maintain independence, dignity, and a comfortable home environment.

Key responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and feeding.
• Prepare meals, handle light housekeeping, laundry, and transportation to appointments.
• Monitor client safety, report condition changes, and follow infection‑control protocols.
• Document tasks, clock in/out, and remind clients to take medication.

Required profile

• Prior caregiving or home‑care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance if client transport is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States and ability to meet South Carolina Department of Public Health caregiver requirements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lb, assist with transfers, and stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods.
