About the role

HEI Civil is seeking an experienced Utility Foreman to lead public‑services projects in the Dallas area. The role focuses on safety, quality, and timely delivery of infrastructure such as roads, bridges, water systems, and environmental restoration.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA safety standards.
• Plan and coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors in advance.
• Provide weekly project overviews to key stakeholders.
• Set daily production goals for the crew and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with project managers and general contractors on constructability reviews and sequencing.
• Track daily costs, record employee hours, and document work progress.
• Maintain professional client relationships, attend client meetings, and ensure accurate documentation (as‑built records, test reports, inspections).
• Ensure timely submission of invoices and project documentation.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction principles and procedures.
• Excellent organization and planning capabilities.
• Comfort working in high‑pressure environments.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements; OSHA 30 certification required.
